A private office for professional athletes
Your money has a team.
Your life doesn't.
I work with professional athletes who want to be intentional about what comes next. I help them choose it and build it.
Maybe some of this is familiar.
- People keep bringing you things: a restaurant, a fund, a podcast. Some are good, but you'd like a clear way to tell which ones are really worthwhile.
- You know what you want to build. You're just not sure where to start.
- You started something on the side, and now it needs more than your spare time.
- You know you need someone to run things day to day. Finding the right person is the hard part.
- You'd like what comes next to be something you choose, not something that happens to you.
Or it's none of these, and you just want someone to think through ideas with.
What I do
Choose it. Build it. Put the right people around it.
Three parts of one private office. Start with the one you need now. The rest are there if or when you need them.
Standing Advisory
Decide what's next, on purpose.
You get a thinking partner who already knows your situation every time you call. We work out what you actually want, weigh what's in front of you, and make the call together, so the next chapter is one you choose.
Build What's Next
Turn the decision into something real.
Whether you're starting a business, standing up a foundation, or shaping the legacy you want to leave, I'll be hands-on once it's time to build. Scoped and quoted as its own project.
Private Office Search
The right people to run it.
A Chief of Staff or personal assistant matched to the life you live now. The ideal profile is settled through a real conversation before the search starts, not after you've met the wrong three people.
I don't manage money, negotiate deals, or replace anyone you already work with. My job is helping you evaluate and decide what's next.
The bench
The right person, personally introduced.
Some of what you need isn't advice and isn't mine to do. Private security. Event production. A designer who builds a house around how you live your life. When one of those comes up, you get an introduction to someone I know and have worked with, not five names and good luck.
And if I'm ever paid a fee by someone I introduce you to, you'll hear it from me before you meet them, without having to ask.
It starts with getting clear.
Every relationship begins with a real conversation about what you're done with, what keeps pulling at you, and what you want next. You don't have to arrive knowing what kind of help you need. That's what the conversation is for.
What we talk about stays between us. I don't name the people I work with, and you won't show up in anything I put out unless you choose to.
You send a note. A few lines is plenty. Then we get on a call and get to know each other.
I tell you what I think you truly need. Sometimes that's me. Sometimes it's an introduction to someone else and you're on your way. I'll be honest about it.
I scope it plainly, with cost, timeline, and what it covers, before anything starts. No surprises later.
Who you'd be working with
I'm Kristin Seal. I've placed Chiefs of Staff for professional athletes and advised former athletes on the businesses they've built. I'm usually the first call when someone doesn't know who to call.
Before this, I spent twenty years as a senior executive and Chief of Staff in public companies, private equity–backed businesses, and venture-backed startups, across several industries. I tend to work with clients for years.
I don't have every answer. What I bring is a clear read on what's in front of you, and the discipline to help you choose.
Getting started
One clear price. Everything else scoped to the work.
Standing Advisory is $5,000 a month, a standing block of time each week. Three-month minimum, then month to month for as long as it's useful. I keep a small number of these going at once.
Off The Field Sessions
Complimentary conversations for alumni groups.
I host small-group sessions for alumni chapters and player groups, at no cost to the group or its members. Each one brings in a specialist I trust to answer the questions players are already asking. The point is to leave with better questions for the people you already work with.
- Estate planning. Have I asked all the right questions?
- Personal security. Is my family protected at home, on the road and online?
- Money and the next generation. How do we raise kids who understand what we've built?
- Building something. Is this idea worth starting, and what will it really take?
- What to expect after the game. Who's going to come calling, and how do I tell a good offer from a bad one?
No one presents a service or reaches out to members afterward. If you lead a group, send me a note below.
Get in touch
You don't have to have it figured out before you reach out.
Send a note with a bit about where things stand. I read every message myself and reply directly, usually within a day or two.
